so i did a google image search on germany and i found this photograph. it's so pretty, so i decided to use it as my desktop background! anyway, this is what the operating system puppy linux looks like. you know, just in case you all were curious. lol, i love that the web browser is called "sea monkey"...it amuses me. oh, and it barks at you any time you add or delete something from the trash bin. :giggle:

well, there's a few glitches when it comes to using seamonkey (though it could just be my computer)...other than that i see no problems with it really. i mean, the only other problems i have are because my computer sucks. it's rather easy to use though, and the 3-D rubix cube is fun to mess around with when you're bored. anyway, the desktop you see here is the standard...just with a different photograph as the background of course. you can customize it to look all spiffy, i just didn't because i don't really know what i'm doing. ^^;

i should mention: this is running on an eight-year-old gateway that originally came with Windows ME. i did an upgrade from 128 to 256 RAM, and it has a 1202 MHz AMD Athlon processor. 18gig hard drive. so you see, not the best computer in the world...but yet puppy seems to work well. it makes me happy. :D
